About
Bret Gibson
While studying for a BA in Fine Arts at the National Art School of Australia, Bret's love for France developed after being commissioned by the Australian Arts Council for a year to work for the French Government. Bret compiled a team of artists from the National Art School,
replicating Aboriginal Paintings on behalf of the Aboriginal Artists and a five-level exterior sculptural relief at the Musée du Quai Branly, Paris. After completing this commission, he purchased an idyllic property in the Loire Valley, which became both his painting studio and the home of French Painting Holidays.
